Delta Private Jets Expands Porsche Transfers To Delta Air Lines Flights

By Doug Gollan, April 4, 2017

Delta Private Jets is making it easier and more luxurious to connect between its private jet flights and flights operated by its parent, Delta Air Lines. The private jet provider has been seeking to leverage its affiliation with one of the world’s largest commercial airlines, last fall enabling members of the Skymiles program to begin redeeming miles for private jet cards.

Delta Private Jets-branded Porsche SUVs will now provide complimentary transfer service at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Los Angeles International (LAX) airports. Delta Private Jets Card members making connections between private and commercial flights at those airports will ride in high style in one of the latest Porsche models. Upon arrival, the traveler will be greeted at the private plane by a driver, ride luxuriously in the Porsche to the main terminal, and be escorted and expedited through security by Delta agents to the connecting flight.

“Our customers expect the highest level of service and the best there is to offer – and being transferred between flights in a Porsche certainly delivers the highest level of comfort and care,” said David Sneed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Delta Private Jets. “Delta Private Jets and Porsche are two top premium brands, and by coordinating our efforts we are able to enhance the experience for our customers as they travel the globe.”

Delta Private Jet Card members connecting between Delta Private Jets flights and commercial flights of Delta Air Lines in major North American hubs and markets may be eligible to receive the complimentary transfer rides in Porsche SUVs.

“Porsche customers are accustomed to a particular level of service at our dealerships, and at our Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles,” said Klaus Zellmer, President and CEO, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. “Our partnership with Delta Private Jets enables us to extend our unique Porsche experience to travelers from around the world. From a first-class flight to exclusive sporty transport, the Porsche-Delta Private Jets collaboration is conceived with the customer at the center.”
