Marketwatch: Trump Unlikely To Tax Private Jets

Goodbye to President Obama’s penchant for making private aviation a punching bag for corporate greed. National Economic Council head Gary Cohn told CEOs in a Washington D.C. meeting they don’t need to worry about private jets being taxed, according to a report by Marketwatch. 

 

President Donald J. Trump is an avid user of private aviation, both with his Trump emblazoned Boeing 757 and helicopters. The business aircraft carrying his name have been an important tool helping build his real estate empire around golf courses, hotels, office buildings and luxury apartments. Cohn was speaking at a White House gathering of business leaders. Since leaving office, Obama has been spotted arriving in the Caribbean and in Tahiti aboard private jets. Read more.
