Only 20 months after its 2015 launch, Singapore-based Zetta Jet is building a niche in the ultra-long-haul transpacific market and is poised to expand its customer base in the U.S. after its acquisition last December of Advanced Aircraft Management. The latter, with a base at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, has been renamed Zetta Jet USA, Inc.

Since its launch, Zetta Jet’s fleet has expanded to 12 Bombardier Global and four Challenger. The Part 135 charter operator also says it has FAA approval to fly between the U.S. and Asia via the North Pole cutting several hours of flight time depending on routing.

Zetta Jet is seeking to compete at the high-end of the global private aviation market alongside players such as VistaJet, NetJets as well as entrants from the Arabian gulf such as Royal Jet and Qatar Executive. Zetta Jet cabin crew and concierges are trained via the Lausanne Hotel School and tableware is via Paris-based Christofle. The company claims differentiation via and Asia approach to luxury service.
