NetJets To Host NetJets Cup Pro-Am Golf Event

By Doug Gollan, May 31, 2017

NetJets will be on the fairways next week as it hosts the second annual NetJets Cup pro-am golf event on June 5 at Double Eagle Golf Club in Galena, Ohio. The event pairs PGA Tour Pros and NetJets owners Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and others with NetJets customers for an invitation-only day of golf.

The official private jet provider of the PGA Tour, NetJets sponsors 35 PGA Tour pros, many of whom will participate in the NetJets Cup.

“The NetJets Cup is one way in which we celebrate the incredible partnership we have with the PGA Tour and the almost three dozen players who rely on us to fly them and their families around the globe,” said Pat Gallagher, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NetJets. “It’s also a wonderful opportunity for us to give our valued Owners an exceptional experience that goes beyond travel. No other private aviation company has a network of industry leaders, innovators, and athletes like NetJets.”

The event will kick off at the conclusion of The Memorial Tournament on Sunday night, with a dinner at the NetJets Flight Center hosted by CBS Commentator and long-time NetJets Owner, Jim Nantz.

On Monday, about 90 players – NetJets owners and their guests – will head to Columbus-native Jason Day’s home course, Double Eagle, to participate in a clinic with the pros and compete for prizes and incredible bragging rights.

“Being a NetJets Owner means much more than having access to the largest and most diverse private jet fleet in the world — it also means having access to the best of everything – including the opportunity play golf with the best players in the world,” said Diana Oreck, Executive Vice President of Owner Experience at NetJets in a press release. “We strive to exceed our owners’ expectations and create unique and memorable beyond flight experiences. It’s one of the many ways NetJets is the industry leader.”

In addition to its mainstay of fractional ownership, NetJets sells jet cards as well. It recently launched a new jet card NetJets Elite Card. Registered users also have access to Private Jet Card Comparisons analysis of over 100 jet card products across our 65 point comparison guide.
