Washington Wizards Pick Jet Linx As Official Private Jet Company

Monumental Sports, the owner of the NBA Wizards, is partnering with the jet card membership seller

Jet Linx, the Omaha-based private jet management company and jet card marketer that operates in 14 different markets, has formed a sports partnership at its Washington D.C. base with the company that owns Capital One Arena, the NBA Washington Wizards, NHL Washington Capitals and WNBA Mystics. As part of the agreement, Jet Linx logos will be featured on courtside seatback covers and VIP hospitality access wristbands for Wizards games. Jet Linx will also have elevator door branding and digital branding on the F Street Entrance and Etihad Airways Lounge LED boards at Capital One Arena.

“Jet Linx is honored to be entrusted as the official private jet company of Monumental Sports & Entertainment because of the high travel demand of its teams and ownership group,” said Josh Rosenblatt, Jet Linx Washington D.C. Base President. “We have built the preeminent private jet company in the area by delivering a personalized and locally-focused service with all of the benefits of a national company, while Monumental has done a phenomenal job of building its teams and retaining players. Our partnership is a perfect match.”

Monumental Sports and Entertainment recently purchased two Arena Football League teams, the Washington Valor and the Baltimore Brigade; invested in one of the biggest esports franchises, Team Liquid, and purchased an NBA G League team that will start play in the fall of 2018 at the city’s new facility at the St. Elizabeth’s campus in Ward 8.

How much does a Jet Linx jet card cost?

Jet Linx memberships start at $12,500 and roundtrip hourly rates begin at $3,375 per hour, excluding 7.5% FET. Its programs feature guaranteed availability and rates and only six minutes taxi time per segment compared to the industry norm of 12 minutes. Additional fuel surcharges apply and there is an extra fee when de-icing is required.

Jet Linx earlier this year surpassed the 100 jet mark in aircraft management. It sells time owners aren’t using on their aircraft for jet cards, however, the company has a unique approach. Instead of selling nationally, they focus on the specific local markets where it has a base. Instead of using FBOs, it has created its own private jet terminals to provide a more personal level of service. Complimentary bars are stocked with the favored spirits of customers who are traveling that days, cars are valet parked and details while you are away, and are waiting on your return, air conditioning in the summer, heat in the winter. Jet Linx operates from Dulles International Airport.
