Welcome to Fly Private Friday - An Instagram look at NetJets

By Doug Gollan, May 25, 2018

#FlyPrivateFriday is our new end of the week feature as we scan social media to showcase the #FlyPrivate private jet lifestyle that comes with a jet card membership.

We like to say jet cards are the Uber of private aviation. With one call you are on your way and while you can buy 100-hour and million dollar jet cards there are also programs starting at just five hours. We promise this features will be easy reading. Like Private Jet Card Comparisons, we do the heavy lifting for you, arduously peering across the social media profiles of folks who forgot to mark their settings private and sharing some highlights of fun at 40,000 feet without the pain of TSA security lines or having to take the train to Concourse Z.  And of course, when you land, there’s no bus to the rental car lot. We like to say that flying privately won’t add years to your life, but it will add years of enjoyment to your life. So enjoy or tell us you don’t like this and it’s stupid. We always like to hear from you either way. Oh, and of course if we have your picture – they are screenshots which is allowed – but you don’t want it up – just let us know and we’ll take it down.

When shooting 14 under par only gets you a tie for 4th place at The Houston Open flying home isn’t so bad judging from this picture of Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky.

British entrepreneur Matt Newing gets the vote from Private Jet Card Comparisons as Husband of the Year as he, wife Jessy Davis and their newest addition head for Gibralter with NetJets. We are hoping young George Newing never has to find out that easyJet isn’t so easy.

One of the visionaries behind the Laver Cup and a pretty good tennis player from a very nice country, Switzerland, yes, its Roger Federer. The second edition of the Laver Cup will be Sept. 21-23, 2018 in Chicago.

This is what it looks like when you’re Jordan Speith shoot a scorching 30 under par and win the Hyundai Tournament of Champions by six strokes. Can we assume he owns a Quarter Share?

We don’t know Kyle Connors – we don’t think it’s the NHL hockey player in this case – but we do like he seems to be a regular on NetJets and we like the Global Express. By our count, there are 12 folks ready to board and 13 seats. Hi Kyle, we can take pictures!

With friends like Kyle Connors, you don’t need more friends.

We say to Jade Isobel May-Lou no problems with whatever’s in your heads. We’d like to go to Coachella on NetJets. We even waited tables in college. Can we get you something to drink?

We don’t know Omar Romero (below) but we do know he likes to fly NetJets between New York and Los Angeles. That’s what we call Flagship Service, oops, sorry American Airlines.

We don’t know Omar Romero, but we like the way he flies.

During the 1950s and even until 1970 United Airlines used to run men only business flights because, well, it was business, and it was the 1960s. Power to these women who were smart enough to fly privately.

We should have listed to mom when she wanted us to take violin lessons. Instead, we watched cartoons, but fortunately for his sister, David Aaron Carpenter was more ambitious.
