Sentient Jet to indulge customers during art filled Hamptons weekend

Private jet card seller Sentient Jet is teaming with Sotheby’s for a weekend of art and cocktails on Long Island’s popular east end summer resort community

 

Directional Aviation’s Sentient Jet (Flexjet, Skyjet and Nextant Aviation are part of the family) in partnership with Sotheby’s, today shared details events to be held for clients and select guests over this coming weekend of July 27th on in the Hamptons on Long Island. The event series marks Sentient Jet’s latest collaboration with Sotheby’s as its Preferred Aviation Partner in North America, a title that the private jet provider has held since March 2017. In addition to special area events of this kind, which have also included private receptions and intimate showcases at exclusive art events including Art Basel Miami Beach, Sentient Jet Cardholders receive VIP experiences at Sotheby’s Global Headquarters in New York City through the company’s extensive Benefits Guide, which provides privileged access to luxury hotels and resorts, top destinations, luxury lifestyle brands, and more. A Private Jet Card Comparisons analysis valued the perks and freebies at over $125,000.

 

The weekend’s events kick off tomorrow at 6:00 PM with “Hungry Heart,” a cocktail reception celebrating Andrew Brischler, one of Contemporary art’s most innovative talents who specializes in “the pathology of abstraction.” Taking place in Sagaponack at the Madoo Conservancy, a venue dedicated to the study, preservation, and enhancement of its diverse gardens and historic structures, the reception will be hosted by David Rothschild, Sotheby’s Vice President, Contemporary Art.

 

Saturday Sentient Jet and Sotheby’s clients and friends are invited to continue the conversation over a brunch and panel discussion at one of Sotheby’s’ impressive Water Mill properties. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails and light bites while taking in highlights from the art house’s upcoming Contemporary Curated sale, which offers new collectors and established clients alike an opportunity to acquire works by leading artists of the Postwar and Contemporary periods.

 

During the event, Lisa Dennison, Sotheby’s Chairman, and Charlotte Van Dercook, Head of Contemporary Curated, will engage in a panel discussion with one of the industry’s most notable collectors. The trio will discuss the upcoming sale and its diverse range of selections by leading tastemakers from the spheres of fashion, culture, food, politics, design and art, as well as their insights on collecting in the ever-changing Contemporary market.

Sentient Jet Prices

 

Sentient Jet offers its 25-Hour Jet Card in four jet-size options, allowing clients to purchase flight time on light, midsize, super midsize, and heavy aircraft as well as in two age classes (Preferred and Select) based on jet age. Last year the company launched the SJ25+ Jet Card, which offers cardholders guaranteed access to Wi-Fi enabled super midsize jets at 25 hours at $227,275. Jet types include the Challenger 300, Citation X, Citation Sovereign, Falcon 50EX, Falcon 2000, and Gulfstream 200. There is also a 15% efficiency discounts on qualifying round-trip travel, and pricing includes 7.5% FET. There are no fuel charges, membership dues or fees in the Sentient program. Light jets start at $131,800, including FET, fuel and catering with a one-year rate lock, so no CPI escalators.
