Air Charter Service recently introduced a new jet card product with guaranteed availability and a maximum hourly price

Air Charter Service has placed 29th in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 list, published in last Sunday’s edition of the weekly newspaper with the company’s sales grew by 39% to £479 million ($553 million). The list, produced every year since 2004, and ranks Britain’s top 250 mid-market private companies by their revenues over the previous year, from published accounts.

Air Charter Service first appeared in the league table in 2011 at number 158 after previously being earmarked ‘One To Watch’ two years earlier. In a press release received by Private Jet Card Comparisons, Air Charter Service Group CEO Justin Bowman said, “We have featured on the list several times now, but to be in the top 30 is an amazing feat. It is recognition of our hard work and continued growth over the past few years. We are delighted with our new position as the highest placed aviation company and to rank above so many well-known brands.”

ACS finished higher placed than football clubs Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea and household names such as Waterstones, David Lloyd Leisure, Caffè Nero and Dreams. The 250 companies named on the list have a total revenue of £66.7 billion ($77 billion), and account for around 3% of the UK’s GDP.

The company operates 23 worldwide offices, spanning all six major continents offering private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters, as well as onboard courier solutions. ACS recently launched a new guaranteed availability, fixed-rate jet card program with service areas in Europe and North America. The fixed rate portion, however, is a maximum rate with the objective to obtain lower pricing on a trip by trip basis. The company uses its published criteria as a starting point so members can design their own cards with call-out, aircraft types, requirements for WiFi or to carry pets and such each impacting the fixed maximum price.
