Pay-as-you-go jet card provider Wheels Up and Turner Ignite Sports today announced a marketing partnership as part of Capital One’s The Match: Tiger vs. Phil, the pay-per-view event featuring Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson later today. Capital One’s The Match: Tiger vs. Phil live coverage on Turner Sports begins at 2 pm EST. Wheels Up sponsored Justify for the third leg of the Triple Crown earlier this year.
According to a press release received by Private Jet Card Comparisons today, Wheels Up will serve as the official private aviation partner of the $9 million high-stakes match play competition. “It’s an honor to be part of this historic event with golf legends Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson,” said Kenny Dichter, founder and CEO of Wheels Up. “Partnering with Turner Sports on this leading-edge programming is a natural fit for us.”

Wheels Up offers family and corporate pay-as-you-go memberships starting at $17,500 for access onto its IS-BAO Stage 3, Argus Platinum fleet of King Air 350i, Citation Excel/XLS at fixed hourly rates of $4,495 and $7,495 plus 7.5% Federal Excise Tax. Wheels Up also offers a prepaid program, which reduces the number of peak days where the company doesn’t guarantee availability. Wheels Up rates include deicing.
