Air Charter Service adds a sixth U.S. office

The broker of jet cards and on-demand charter is continuing its expansion in North America with an office in Atlanta

U.K.-based Air Charter Service has opened its sixth office in the United States in Atlanta. It’s the 24^th office for the seller of jet cards and on-demand charter. More will be announced in the next few months, according to a press release received by Private Jet Card Comparisons.

Speaking on the announcement, ACS’s President of American operations, Richard Thompson, said, “We identified Atlanta as an important hub for both passenger and cargo flights a long time ago.” He continued, “Our Atlanta client base is considerable and has been built up over a number of years by our other U.S. offices, and now is the time to provide our customers here local representation.”

Air Charter Service Capped Rate Jet Cards

In addition to selling its capped rate Empyrean jet card and on-demand charters, Air Charter Service arranged cargo and specialty charters, including road shows and live entertainment tours. The company, founded in 1990, has over 440 employees. Annual sales are estimated to be around $700 million. Last year, the company said it arranged 23,000 charters. The Empyrean Card provides a capped rate, in the case of light jets, $5,700 per hour. Through its relationships with charter operators, ACS then tries to obtain a lower rate similar to dynamic pricing jet cards.

A City With Global Headquarters

ACS Atlanta Team

Leading the Atlanta team is Joseph Chiantia who was previously working in ACS’s New York office. Prior to joining the company, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, which included flying on search and rescue missions. The Atlanta office is the company’s 24th of its worldwide network, with more set to be announced in the next few months.
