Jet Linx previews new Boston, Chicago, and New York private terminals

The fast-growing private jet management and jet card provider is moving into major markets

Last month Jet Linx Aviation announced it had passed the 100 million mile flight mark, the time type of milestone that is probably more important to the company than customers. However, the company also noted, half of those miles had been flown in the past five years, a sign of accelerating growth.

The company now has released images of its new terminals in Boston, Chicago, and New York, all of which are currently under construction and set to open soon.

Jet Linx Boston

Located at Hanscomb Field, Jet Linx new private terminal will give Boston fans who are used to championships a new level of luxury. Amenities at Jet Linx private terminals include complimentary spirits and snacks, Wifi, a conference room, as well as car detailing while you travel.

Part of the Jet Linx formula is to have local partners who are connected to the community and also have authority to solve problems for customers on a local level. In the case of Boston, its partners are Samuel T. Byrne and David Fialkow.


Byrne currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peabody Essex Museum. He is also Managing Partner and co-founder of CrossHarbor Capital Partners LLC, a leading alternative investment management firm specializing in real estate, as well as distressed securities and private equity.


Fialkow is a co-founder and managing director of General Catalyst. His focus areas include travel, financial services, and e-commerce, and he leads General Catalyst’s XIR program. His portfolio of investments includes Catalant; CLEAResult (acquired by General Atlantic); Datalogix (acquired by Oracle); Datto (acquired by Vista Equity Partners); Highwinds; OGSystems (acquired by Parsons Corporation); Outdoor Voices; TrueMotion; and Vitrue (acquired by Oracle).

Before going into business, he studied film at Colgate University. He and his wife, Nina, still make documentaries focused on healthcare and social justice. In 2018, he produced Icarus, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film. He is also on the board of The Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams) and is chair of the Investment Advisory Committee of The Engine.

Jet Linx Chicago

The Jet Linx private terminal in Chicago is at at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK), about 10 miles north of O’Hare International Airport and one of the area’s most popular airports for business aviation.

In Chicago, Jet Linx local partners are Christopher “Topher” Merrill and Joe Shenton.

Merrill is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Harrison Street, a real estate private equity firm that manages more than $20 billion of client assets. Recently, Harrison Street partnered with Colliers International Group (“CIGI”) to help further the firm’s global expansion. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Chicago Commonwealth Club and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He also serves on the board of The First Tee of Greater Chicago, Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Chicago Botanical Garden. He is also an active angel investor in many early-stage businesses throughout the Chicagoland area.

Shenton is a Partner of Summit Trail Advisors, a private investment office with more than $7 billion of client assets.  In addition, he is a Founding Board Member of Mac & Mia, Enterprise Risk Partners, LLC and Relish Works, Inc.  His civic and philanthropic involvement includes current Board and Advisory positions with 1871, The Chicago Entrepreneurial Center, Illinois Institute of Technology, Big Shoulders Fund, Lurie Children’s Hospital (past) and The Pat Tillman Foundation.

Jet Linx New York

For New York, Jet Linx will be located at Teterboro, across the Hudson River from Manhattan, and one of the busiest private aviation airports in the world.

There are four partners for Jet Linx New York, Isaac Flanagan, Alec LeFort, Eli Goldstein, and Evan Morgan.

LeFort is tabbed as Base Operating Partner. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Revenue Officer of Radcliff Aviation Partners, a division of The Radcliff Companies, which has formed a strategic partnership with Jet Linx both at the local and national level.

Prior to joining Jet Linx, he was a Founding Partner and Vice President at VTS, a leading real estate asset management software headquartered in New York City.

During his 7-year tenure at VTS, the company grew from 3 employees to over 200 with 5 offices globally and over $120 million in capital raised from the top investment funds, including The Blackstone Group and Insight Venture Partners.

Goldstein is Manager of The Radcliff Companies. Prior to The Radcliff Companies, Mr. Goldstein was Chief Investment Officer and Partner of E.L. Rothschild LLC since 2008, where he was responsible for the firm’s global activities. Mr. Goldstein led E.L. Rothschild focusing on investment structuring and execution as well as the ongoing management and operations of E.L. Rothschild’s businesses.

Before joining E.L. Rothschild, he was an Investment Banker in the Global Industries Group at Bear, Stearns, and Co. in New York City. Mr. Goldstein’s investments, corporate board responsibilities, and operational roles span luxury goods, financial services, technology-enabled services, and media, globally.

Morgan is Manager of The Radcliff Companies. Prior to The Radcliff Companies, he was a Partner at Revolution from 2011 to 2016 focusing on deal sourcing, structuring and execution across Revolution’s portfolio of growth equity and buyout investments. Prior to Revolution, Morgan was with the Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager based in Washington D.C.
