In just his second year, Patrick Mahomes dominated the National Football League and took home its Most Valuable Player trophy while leading the Kansas City Chiefs into Super Bowl contention. Today, locally based Airshare, which sells jet cards and fractional ownership on its Phenom 300 and 100 fleet, said the rising star has re-signed as its spokesperson.

In making the announcement, the company said, “The life of an NFL quarterback requires a constant focus on being as efficient as possible with time, both on and off the field. When you are reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes II, the need to maximize time intensifies even further. Mahomes has become busier this offseason and has relied on Airshare to fulfill his growing obligations.”

It added, “Airshare has become an integral part of maintaining his rigorous schedule. The opportunity to continue the partnership is vital in maintaining this level of productivity coming off a record-setting year.”

“Airshare has been an amazing partner,” said Patrick Mahomes in a press release. “My family has been able to attend all of my home games, which I greatly appreciate. For me personally, I quickly realized how much flying private has improved my time efficiency. I am very thankful for this partnership with my friends at Airshare.”

“We are proud to continue our unique partnership with Patrick and his family,” said Andy Tretiak, Chief Marketing Officer. “While his performance on the field has been incredible, his genuine and engaging personality is what really makes him a great ambassador for our brand. We are thrilled to play a role in helping him manage his demanding schedule while providing more time for him to spend with friends and family.”

Airshare has a long-term partnership with both the team and Chiefs’ Head Coach Andy Reid.

Airshare rebrands

Last year, Airshare rebranded from Executive AirShare to better reflect the diverse reasons customers use its services. The company has a unique approach selling jet cards and shares by the day instead of an hourly formula. Entry program is its 10-day Embark jet card. The program is particularly cost-effective for customers who make multiple flights on their days of usage, company executives have said.

Airshare is an Argus Platinum, Stage 2 IS-BAO operator. In addition to shares and jet cards, Airshare also manages aircraft for owners.  Last year it expanded its target area for customers to Denver and said it plans to add more service zones in the eastern U.S. in the future.
