The executive shuttle between Atlanta and Erlanger, Kentucky was busy again recently. Longtime Delta Private Jets CFO and executive vice president is now president replacing Jeff Mihalic who had been president and CEO.
According to Bevis’ bio, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Santa Clara University and a Master of Accountancy from Miami University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Before joining DPJ, he served as director of financial planning and analysis for GE IT Solutions, a subsidiary of the General Electric Company where he oversaw financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, and corporate reporting functions.
He also led several special projects including software implementations, productivity and restructuring initiatives, and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining GE, Bevis advised and managed tax restructuring engagements for large private and publicly held companies with KPMG. Earlier in his career, he led financial due diligence engagements for strategic and financial buyers at PWC.
At Delta Private Jets, according to its website, he is focusing on profitability, margin growth, and liquidity while maintaining cost discipline, reinvesting in the business, and developing technology improvements that best serve its clients.
Mihalic was in the corner office for less than a year, arriving from another Delta Air Lines subsidiary last November. He replaced Gary Hames who joined DPJ in June 2017 from Virgin Australia before shuttling to Atlanta to join the parent company in September 2018. Hames had replaced David Sneed, an active pilot for the mainline airline who came to Erlanger in June 2015 after serving as general manager, corporate strategy and business development in Atlanta.
Atlanta is, of course, headquarters for Delta Air Lines and Erlanger is headquarters for Delta Private Jets.
Delta Private Jets offers a jet cased based on its fleet of managed private jets. The program starts at $150,000 and allows members to select a preferred cabin category for each trip at fixed rates with guaranteed availability. It also offers an empty leg program under the SkyAccess banner.
It is the longest continuous holder of the Argus Platinum safety rating and is Wyvern Wingman recommended and IS-BAO Stage 3 compliant, the hat trick of top ratings.
