By bringing an average of $84,000 in economic benefits to each place they fly, private jets are in fact more-ecofriendly than commercial airliners

Travel shaming was meant to guilt people into not flying despite the fact that travel and tourism accounts for one in 10 jobs worldwide, and 10% of global GPD, a staggering $8.8 trillion annually.

Private jet use is often paired off against commercial flying as being environmentally less friendly, but research shows that private jet travelers emit less carbon while bringing more economic benefit to the places they visit.
