Wheels Up "incredible flight credit" on $2,950 Connect memberships via The Wall Street Journal

The jet card provider is expanding its push on jet sharing via a partnership with WSJ+

Subscribers to the Wall Street Journal’s WSJ+ are being offered a significant flight credit with the purchase of a Wheels Up Connect Membership for $2,995. Wheels Up introduced the new entry-level price point earlier this year to increase the pool of members who want to share flights with its existing base who charter flights using fixed one-way rates and guaranteed availability.

Jet sharing membership

A Connect Membership provides opportunities to fly private at a lower cost by connecting with over 6,000 Wheels Up Members across the country to coordinate shared flights and split the cost.

Additionally, they gain access to exclusive events and benefits, including Hot Flights, one-way empty-leg flights on turboprops, jets, and helicopters with the entire aircraft to yourself starting at $320; Shuttle Flights on specific routes, available by the seat starting at $700; Hot Nights, luxury getaways through Inspirato, available at significant discounts; select Wheels Down Events, including Super Bowl weekend, Masters week in Augusta, and Art Basel in Miami; and a complimentary FoundersCard Membership that give discounts on products and services from preeminent brands, as well as elite status in airline and rental car loyalty programs.

Of course, the main draw is jet sharing between popular city pairs, to colleges and universities, and to Wheels Up events around the country.
