Vista Global’s VistaJet will put the first of six Bombardier Global 7500 ultra-long-range private jets into service starting in January 2020. Members of its Program, the private jet charter operator’s version of a jet card and alternative to fractional ownership, can start reserving flights as of today. The company has said it has orders and options for as many as 30 of the new jets.

Making the announcement during the first day of that National Business Aviation Association’s annual conference in Las Vegas, Thomas Flohr, the group’s founder and chairman, said, “Today’s announcement is yet another game-changer for our current fliers and the many additional customers we continue attracting from our competitors…We have had an incredible response from fliers interested in experiencing the 7500, which is reflected by the fact we are already planning the introduction of five additional jets to arrive throughout 2020.”
The Global 7500 can fly nonstop up to 7,700 nautical miles. VistaJet’s configuration will include a four-section cabin, including a permanent private stateroom suite.
The living area includes a six-seat table and introduces new seat architecture with a patented deep recline. With the largest galley in business aviation, food will be freshly prepared in the air, offering the ability to have a higher level of inflight dining.
The ultra-long-range business jet set the record for the longest mission ever flown in a non-stop flight of 8,225 nm, setting the long-range speed record between Sydney and Detroit, Michigan.
The Global 7500 also set the speed record between New York and Los Angeles, hitting Mach 0.925. It sustained that speed for more than two hours, completing the westbound coast-to-coast flight in 3 hours and 54 minutes.

This exciting announcement comes just a month after Vista Global’s industry-changing commitment to implement the highest speed KU-band internet onboard its fleet.”
Over the past two years, VistaJet has been focusing on its image as a luxury provider. It rolled out special programming targeting children, oenophiles, gourmands, and customers who travel with pets. Most recently, it launched a series of luxury travel experiences in conjunction with top travel designers and destination experts. The company said it has seen a 25% rise in global flights, a 46% jump for flights in North America, and a 31% increase in new members worldwide.
Flohr added it may take as many as a dozen Global 7500s between now and the end of 2021. NetJets expects to add the Global 7500 to its fleet for fractional ownership and leases in 2021. Flexjet earlier this year said it is now offering the Gulfstream G650 using days instead of annual hours.
