The staff at Air Charter Service’s office in London have raised £28,892 for charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

In a prepared statement, Emma Heley, the senior fundraising manager at Macmillan, said, “Thank you to everyone at ACS for helping to raise this incredible amount – it will pay for a nurse for 1,000 hours, helping people living with cancer and their families to receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.”

Tina Leach, head of Air Charter Service’s Charity Committee, added, “We really appreciate a personal thank you for our charity work – Macmillan is a cause that is close to a lot of people’s hearts here.”

Heley’s visit coincided with a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Air Charter Service’s headquarters that same day, where bakers at the company raised more than £400 in a cake sale.

Air Charter Service supports a number of charities around the world. These include the international charity Save the Children and charities local to its London headquarters, Momentum and the Dysart School.
