Jet Linx names base presidents in Chicago and Detroit

Private jet management and jet card membership provider Jet Linx has been on a fast-growth track over the past two years

Omaha-based Jet Linx Aviation offers a different twist on the jet card market. Instead of selling memberships on a regional or national basis, it operates nearly 20 bases across the U.S.

Each base features its own private terminal, so members can avoid sometimes crowded FBOs. They also get a more personalized service with complimentary snacks and preferred libations.

While they are away, the local team will detail their car. On return, your car is available via valet at an appropriate temperature. In other words, no trip to the lot scraping snow or waiting for your auto to cool down in the summer heat.

The bases are often partnerships, and each base has its own president. Last year Jet Linx signed a deal with Forbes Travel Guide to provide the same 5-star customer service training it offers to leading luxury hotels and resorts.

Starting the new year, Brian Goodman has been named Base President of Jet Linx Chicago, and Bill Royce is now Base President of Jet Linx Detroit.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bill Royce and Brian Goodman as Base Presidents at two of our rapidly-growing locations in Chicago and Detroit,” said Jamie Walker, CEO of Jet Linx in a press release.

Jet Linx base locations span from Scottsdale to Boston and south to Atlanta, with more growth planned.

He added, “Mr. Goodman and Mr. Royce bring many years of experience and expertise to Jet Linx that will undoubtedly enable our teams to further expand our footprint in the Midwest and ensure we continue delivering unparalleled and personalized client services to new and existing clients.”

Goodman has worked in brand advertising, marketing, business strategy, and media sales, with a deep knowledge of brand and business development.

In addition to significant experience spanning marketing and media giants, including Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Allstate, McDonald’s, Viacom and National Geographic, Goodman helped launch the Sean Combs-backed startup REVOLT before turning his focus to co-founding and spearheading the development of an online EdTech platform and a data-driven niche healthcare SaaS service.

“I’m delighted to join the Jet Linx team on their continued mission to provide clients with global private jet solutions from the local level,” said Goodman in the announcement.

He added, “Jet Linx’s philosophy of providing a personalized approach to guaranteed private jet travel solutions is truly unique, and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Chicago team at such a pivotal time for the company.”

Jet Linx Detroit

With more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing in the automotive industry, Royce specializes in strategic businesses through cultivating client relationships and leading high-performing teams.

Prior to joining Jet Linx, Royce held senior leadership roles at R. L. Polk & Co. for nearly 15 years.

While with that company, he held the positions of Vice President of Business Development, in which he spearheaded numerous successful partnerships that resulted in multimillion-dollar growth for the company, and Vice President of Global Price & Specifications, where he managed the integration activities in the acquisition of ROADTODATA.

He said, “I am excited to join the Jet Linx team and apply my many years of leadership experience and knowledge of the local community to the growing Detroit market.”

Last year Jet Linx added new bases in the Windy City, Austin, Boston, and New York via Teterboro Airport. It also added a second location at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in addition to Lambert Field. Existing locations in Houston and Nashville were expanded as well.

The company has previously said it is eyeing California, including the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles as well as South Florida. Currently, its most western location is Scottsdale, Arizona, and its network in the south includes Atlanta. It now has five Texas locations. In addition to Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston.

Customers can fly to non-base locations with fixed rates and guaranteed availability, with both one-way and roundtrip pricing. In December, the pay-as-you-go membership program was expanded to add a formal deposit program.
