NetJets celebrates the PGA's return with a video highlighting the advantages of private jet travel

The official private jet provider of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America highlights 15 of the last 20 “major” winners fly with NetJets

As the professional golf tour continues its return, NetJets is saluting the golfers using its services to reach peak performance.

In a brief video posted to its Instagram account, NetJets notes, “Over half of 2019 tournaments were won by a NetJets pro.” It also points out, “15 of the last 20 major winners fly NetJets.

The world’s largest private jet operator has been the official private jet provider of the PGA since 2014. In 2017 extended its agreement for five years through 2020.

During the video, NetJets offers a series of testimonials from golfing’s elite talent.

“NetJets is a game changer,” Dustin Johnson is quoted in the video. Two weeks ago his win in the Travelers Championship provided his 21st career PGA Tour victory.

Spanish golfer Jon Rahm who can count three PGA wins and six more on the European Tour credits his private jet company, saying, “I wouldn’t be the player I am without NetJets.”

Brooks Koepka is the first golfer in history to hold back-to-back titles in two majors simultaneously. Back to back winner of PGA Championship and U.S. Open titles, in the video, Koepka says, “NetJets solved all my travel issues.”

NetJets “extended my career”

Jim Furyk is a 17-time winner at age 50. He credits NetJets for his longevity on the PGA Tour, saying of access to NetJets, “It extended my career.”

Justin Thomas notes, “I can’t imagine life on tour without it.” Branden Grace adds, “They go out of their way to make it happen.”

Justin Rose counts an Olympic Gold Medal in addition to 29 wins globally. He adds, “Working with NetJets gives me the best option.”

An analysis of the PGA’s schedule in 2017 showed golfers using private aviation saved 73 hours of travel time.

Over the 30 weeks analyzed, in 11 venues private aviation users were able to access more convenient airports. In 18 of the 30 weeks, private aviation enabled golfers to fly nonstop whereas flying commercially required a connection.

NetJets is so popular with golfers, there is even an unofficial Twitter account @NetJetsgolfteam which chronicles the performance of tour users who fly with the company.
