Outlier Jets eliminates peak day surcharges; Offers 10-hour promo jet card

Outlier Jets has eliminated the peak day surcharges for its jet card members while offering a 10-hour promotional jet card for first-time customers

Charter broker Outlier Jets has eliminated the peak day surcharge from its jet cards. It previously had a 5% levy. There are currently 22 peak days.

At the same time, Outlier is offering first-time buyers a10-hour option. The offer is valid until May 15. Its entry-level standard is 25 hours, and unused funds can be refunded at any time.

Outlier’s CEO Michael Farley tells Private Jet Card Comparisons that flight hours year-to-date are running 50% ahead of last fall as customers who bought jet cards now burn their hours.

With supply in the market tightening, Farley says, Outlier is planning strategic partnerships with key operators. It could involve chartering specific aircraft for several days or possibly longer. Having scheduling control will give the broker guaranteed inventory as private flying continues to increase.

A January survey of subscribers by Private Jet Card Comparisons found 96% of those who started or re-started private flying due to COVID planned to continue after the pandemic.
