Nicholas Air makes executive appointments

Gearing up for more growth in 2022, Nicholas Air names Peder von Harten president, Wendi Litton as chief operating office & general counsel, and Fernando Pineda as chief technology officer

Part 135 charter operator Nicholas Air which offers several different jet card programs to access its fleet, has made three senior executive appointments.

Marketing boss Peder von Harten becomes president. At the same time, Wendi Litton is now chief operating officer & general counsel. Fernando Pineda is elevated as chief technology officer.

Of von Harten, Nicholas Air CEO and founder Nicholas Correnti said, “Peder’s leadership of our revenue generation, marketing, and brand strategy units has resulted in a consistent uptick in revenue since he came on board, as well as the increased awareness of the Nicholas Air product across the industry.”

He added, “(von Harten’s) long-tenured background in aviation and relationship management has made him a trusted advisor to not just our business, but to our member base that he engages with daily. With taking over as president of Nicholas Air, he is tasked with continuing our growth trajectory and brand presence while leading the next evolution of the Nicholas Air brand.”

Correnti praised Litton for her work contribution to regulatory compliance and the company’s growth plan.

“Since coming on board with our team, Wendi has used her role as a business operator and legal counsel to help lay the groundwork for our growth plan while seeing every angle of the company through a regulatory lens. Our business continues to evolve and her diligence toward regulatory affairs and contractual law ensures that our business grows responsibly and while we continue our tradition of sustainable success,” the CEO said of Litton.

Pineda, he said, has led the operator’s efforts to advance tech quotient.

“Fernando has been the key figure in advancing our operational technology since the day he arrived at Nicholas Air while streamlining the process in which we deliver our product to our members. His experience in the industry has proven vital to our organization and as technology continues to play an increasingly important role in our business, Fernando will lead our key projects in tech, innovation, and process management,” Correnti said.

The company recently added another Citation CJ3+ and Phenom 300 to its fleet. The average fleet age is under five years old.
