The new offers add to its jet card and buy-manage-fly programs

Dumont Group has been quietly building an impressive branded floating fleet of large cabin Dassault Falcon 2000s. It is now adding a fractional ownership program to its on-demand charter, jet card, and buy-manage-fly programs. Currently, it is flying 17 of the type with eight more on the way, so it will end up having a fleet of at least 25, plus two additional frames it is using for parts.

The Falcon 2000s which were formerly with a fractional operator received an avionics upgrade, plus new paint outside and complete cabin refurbishment. Priced at $9,000 per hour plus 7.5% Federal Excise Tax in its Santos Jet Card Program, the fleet includes Wifi and with 10 seats provides a best in class value, particularly for fliers who want a similar cabin experience.

The current full ownership programs enables you to buy a full aircraft for $3.8 million and then enter into a management contract at $11,000 per month. Charter revenue is based on your flying needs.

Now, answering the demand from customers who aren’t interested in full ownership, but want the tax deductions of ownership, Dumont is rolling out a fractional offer on the Falcons.

A quarter share is priced at $1 million, including the ability to depreciate the full amount in year one based on usage, up to 100 flight hours annually and an hourly one-way rate of $6,995 with no management fees or repositioning charges. After the five year term, you exit with 70% of fair market value. You can also buy an eighth share at $600,000 with the same terms, except 50 flight hours per year.

Fractional buyers also can interchange at published rates to light, midsize, super midsize aircraft. Dumont pegs the Falcon 200 range at approximately six hours of flight time and the program includes a cabin attendant. According to Conklin & deDecker, the range is between 3,800 to 4,100 miles.
