August private flight activity in North America clocked a 38.7% increase over 2020, good enough to finish as the second busiest month on record, trailing only July 2021. The August activity was 10% higher than 2019’s pre-pandemic private jet flying levels. Total flights were just under the 300,000 mark.
Private jet activity in North America in July surged to a record 305,136 flights, 43,100 more than 2019, according to Argus TraqPak.
Argus Traqpak’s research data showed June as the busiest month for private aviation since October 2007. Now, the aviation research firm says July 1, 2021, recorded 12,345 business aviation flights in North America. That was the largest single-day of operations since March 20, 2008.
Global private aviation traffic has increased by 6% in June 2021 compared to 2019, effectively setting record levels of activity, according to the most recent Tracker update from WingX.
