Qatar Executive was founded in 2007 as a fully owned subsidiary of award-winning Qatar Airways. It has a fleet of long-range and ultra-long-range Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Airbus private jets. It is a launch customer for the Gulfstream G700.

In 2020, it launched The Diamond Agreement offering global fixed-rate, guaranteed-availability private jet solutions. In 2022, it was renamed The Block Hour Agreement.
