AeroVanti is facing yet another lawsuit, this time for a sponsorship with the MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays.
Grounded private flight membership club AeroVanti is facing another lawsuit.
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, a subsidiary of the Tampa Bay Rays, the Major League Baseball team, filed the action.
It alleges AeroVanti failed to pay at least $880,000 in sponsorship and licensing fees.
The lawsuit, filed on April 26, was not readily available.
It follows a $3 million lawsuit filed in February by the Chicago Cubs.
AeroVanti is facing multiple lawsuits from aircraft lessors and members of its jet card program.
Last year, its Founder, Patrick Britton-Harr, was charged with fraud by the Department of Justice.
Those allegations were about other companies he owned that were related to medical testing.
Former CEO Scott Hopes had the 2021 start-up had racked up as much as $50 million in debt.
