VistaJet History and Overview

VistaJet was founded in 2004 by Swiss entrepreneur Thomas Flohr.

The brand is part of Vista Global Holding, a Dubai-based holding company established in 2018.

Prior to establishing the holding company, VistaJet operated a fleet of over 70 owned Bombardier aircraft, all with consistent branding, livery, and amenities for its on-demand charter and prepaid member program customers.

Vista Global has since acquired XOJET, JetSmarter (with the brokerages combined into XO), Red Wing Aero, Apollo Jets, Talon Air, Air Hamburg, and Jet Edge.

VistaJet’s U.S. fleet is operated by XOJet Aviation (Review private jet membership company M&A activity with our PRIVATE AVIATION DEAL BOOK.) and recently announced plans to add 50 light jets for its XO brand.

In 2020, VistaJet launched its first dedicated program targeting corporate accounts. It also expanded its Private World collaborations with luxury travel advisors.

In 2021, VistaJet announced said it will be carbon neutral by 2025. It also said it will add up to 12 Bombardier Global 7500s and 10 Challenger 350s to its fleet by 2022.

In 2022, the company announced it was referring to its now 360 private jets as the Vista Members fleet.

As of May 2023, over 200 of the aircraft had upgraded VistaJet interiors and exterior livery.

VistaJet is included in Private Jet Card Comparisons’ database of over 50 jet card providers, enabling you to compare programs in minutes.
