NetJets reboots Europe; plans to add 60 private jets

The largest private jet operator in the world is taking a bullish approach towards the demand for private jet travel in a COVID-19 world

After taking a cautious approach at the beginning of the current COVID-19 pandemic, NetJets has turned into a bull.

In an email to customers today, NetJets president Patrick Gallagher wrote, “Private aviation fared much better and has rebounded faster, though it is not yet back to pre-pandemic levels.”

Earlier this week, the world’s largest private jet operator delivered 500,000 COVID-19 antibody tests from China for U.S. healthcare workers and first responders

As the economy begins to reopen and NetJets plans to bring employees back into its offices, it has continued its efforts to bring needed medical supplies to first responders.  

Today, in a letter to customers, NetJets said it has also secured tests and set procedures for testing 100% of crewmembers and other employees for COVID-19.
