While partnerships between private jet companies and travel agencies or concierges aren’t new, so far they have been limited mostly to hospitality at major events, one-off trips, and promotions with a variety of luxury hotels. In a joint announcement made today in New York, JetSuite and Embark Beyond are promising what could be a game-changing alliance that will be seamless, integrated and ongoing.
Dallas-based JetSuite, which operates a fleet of owned Embraer Phenom 300 and Phenom 100 private jets, said it has created a strategic partnership with Embark Beyond, a luxury travel advisory that is part of the $25 billion Virtuoso network of travel agencies.
Other trends include the pilot shortage, struggle of on-demand brokers to offer instant, guaranteed pricing, and desires of jet card buyers for high-touch, high-level service
While a shortage of pilots in business aviation has been pushing up crew salaries by as much as 20%, buyers of jet cards and on-demand charter can look forward to continued favorable pricing, according to executives attending Corporate Jet Investor’s annual Dealmakers Conference being held this week at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

As Dallas-based private jet operator JetSuite gets ready to enter its second decade the company is making sweeping changes to its SuiteKey jet card program. Stephanie Chung, JetSuite’s recently appointed president, tells Private Jet Card Comparisons the moves are part of a “complete brand refresh” that will hit “every touch point…from a new website to invoices. Our goal,” she says, “is to bring a premium experience to the light jet category,” adding, “Most of the competitors tend to focus on their heavy aircraft because that’s where the biggest margin is.”
