March saw a 13.5% surge in private jet aviation activity.
With a big 13.5 % increase in private aviation flight activity from February to March, forecaster TRAQPak is predicting a 4.8% increase in overall flight activity year over year in April 2017.
According to a press release, March 2017 posted an increase of 4.6% YOY. The results by operational category were positive with Part 135 activity rising 7.3%, Fractional activity was up 4.7% and Part 91 activity increased 2.8%.
The aircraft categories were positive as well with large and mid-size jets posting the largest gains, up 10.1% & 5.9% respectively. Light jets and turboprops saw increases of 3.8% & 1.6% in that order.
March business aviation flight activity posted a substantial month over month increase from February to finish up 13.5%. Results by operational category were positive for the month, with Part 91 posting a big increase, up 14.6%. Part 135 activity was up 12.3% from February while Fractional activity increased 12.2%. Aircraft categories soared as well with light jets and turboprops posting the largest increases, up 15.7% and 13.5% respectively. Large and mid-size jets posted a increase of 12.2% & 12.3% respectively.
