JetSmarter Targets Frequent Fliers With New Trial Membership Promotion

JetSmarter is known for its constant promotions, however, in a new one, the Ft. Lauderdale-based private aviation membership program is offering a free three-month membership if you have accumulated over one million frequent flyer miles or credit card points.

According to an ad posted on Facebook (above), the JetSmarter membership includes complimentary single-seat bookings on posted shuttle routes worldwide, complimentary single-seat bookings on empty-legs and access to on-demand shared charters you book and then differ costs by inviting other members to share with you.

To redeem, you need to download the free JetSmarter app and complete the registration, including sending a photo or short video that provides verifiable proof to status.verify@jetsmarter.com.

Your email must contain your first and last name, and phone number. The offer is valid until July 1, 2017 and redeemable for its Simple membership, its lowest tier.

While flying for free seems like a deal to good to be true, JetSmarter is not without its critics. The website Flyertalk has an active thread with feedback about its programs and communications which is worth reading. There is some speculation the offer could be designed to pump membership totals in advance of more fundraising.
