JetSet Group launches trans-Atlantic jet card

Following Air Partner’s debut of a similar product last month, jet card broker JetSet Group debuted a US-Europe fixed-rate, guaranteed availability jet card

New York-based jet card broker JetSet Group today launched a fixed rate, guaranteed availability for travel between the U.S. and Europe. It follows Air Partner, which launched a similar private jet membership last month, joining VistaJet and NetJets which also serve the niche.

“With many clients in Europe or going or coming back towards the end of the summer, we figured now was a good time,” JetSet Group CEO Steve Orfali tells Private Jet Card Comparisons.

With new bases in New York, Chicago, Boston, and Austin opening this year and plans to expand to California and South Florida, Jet Linx unveiled two major initiatives designed to provide high standards and plentiful pilots for its customers.

With an industry-wide shortage of pilots, the Omaha-based aircraft management company unveiled today a three-way partnership with Southwest Airlines, the nation’s largest domestic carrier, and CAE, a global leader in pilot training for civil aviation. Jet Linx currently has about 250 pilots, a figure that will reach 500 by 2023.

DashJet folded into Exec 1 Aviation

Exec 1 Aviation, which just last year launched DashJet as a brokerage arm, has now folded it under the mother brand. The move, which took place in March was driven by litigation threats from a major aviation company that was using the Dash brand for cargo, as well as a branding decision.

“Everything that DashJet was doing now exists under Exec 1 Aviation,” says Katherine Forst, director of customer engagement.

Florida-based jet card broker Privé Jets has added travel security services via a new affiliate with Tangent Group International, which provides VIP services to protect UHNWs while traveling.
