The Embraer Phenom 300 private jet charter operator is expanding to Scottsdale, adding to bases in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, and Chicago

Maryland-based GrandView Aviation is stretching its bases westwards and launching a mileage-based loyalty program.

With its fleet growing to seven Embraer Phenom 300s, GrandView will add a base at Scottsdale, Arizona later this year. In the past three years, it has expanded to Austin, Chicago, and Atlanta.

At the same time, it’s rolling out a rewards program for its regular customers.

Those enrolled in the program will be able to earn miles on charter flights. Miles can be redeemed for catering, flight credits, and other amenities. The company has divided the program into two tiers: Altitude Miles Program and Altitude Plus Miles Program.

Both of the miles programs offer eligibility to earn miles to redeem for rewards, flexible cancelation policy, and inclusion in member-exclusive empty leg specials.

The Altitude Miles level provides enrollment at no cost for those interested in joining the program. For more frequent fliers, the Altitude Plus Miles Program requires prepayment prior to enrollment.

Members of the Altitude Plus Miles Program are entitled to a 10% discount on flight charges. You also get a $200 catering credit per day.

In terms of redemptions, after 1,000 miles you can redeem for free inflight catering. At 4,000 miles, you get a $1,000 flight credit, while 20,000 miles earns $5,000 of flight credits.

Grandview’s membership offers as available fixed-rate flights. That makes it attractive if you can book far enough in advance to ensure availablity when you need it. Hourly rates are based on total flying time, including positioning flights. That makes it a good fit if you are doing short flights or roundtrips from its bases.

According to its website, the most popular destinations it flies to include St. Marteen, Nassau, Bermuda, Jackson Hole, Aspen, Dallas, and Key West.
