Florida bucks the trends as worldwide private jet flight activity drops week-to-week and year-over-year.
Despite a 9% week-to-week drop to 66,983 segments, worldwide private jet flight activity was 4% below Week 13 a year ago.
Over the trailing four weeks, global private flights (285,975) were up by 2%.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe points out that, through March 31, 2024, private flights were up 0.3% year over year.
While down 2% against 2022’s record levels, flights are up 32.2% compared to the first three months 2019.
Back to Week 13, the U.S. (46.,127) saw declines in line with global activity.
European flights (8,210) dropped the same 9% week-to-week but were 13% down from 2023.
During the past four weeks, flying was 5% down year-over-year.

The U.S. (24,497 segments) dropped 5% week-to-week, 1% less than in 2023.

Florida charter and fractional flights were the only segments without red, week-to-week, or year-over-year.
Its 4,755 segments were flat week-to-week and up 4% from 2023.
Over the past four weeks, Florida fractional and charter flights were up 5% compared to last year.
