Texas and Florida 9% year-over-year increases in Week 34 helped push worldwide private jet flight activity up 1% compared to 2023.
Worldwide private jet flights (70,242 segments) saw a 1% increase week-to-week and year-over-year in Week 34.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe notes, “Part 135 and 91K flights out of Texas and Florida were up more than 10% in the latest week and are trending up 5% in August, in contrast to the 1% decline in bizjet activity in the U.S., eight months into 2024. The late summer surge in the U.S. compares to a post-Olympics slowdown in Europe.”
While U.S. flying was flat sequentially (46,947 flights), that marked a 4% year-over-year bump.
California (4,471 segments) and Texas (4,395) saw 9% gains compared to the same week in 2023.
European private jet flight activity (12,059) was down 3% year-over-year despite a 6% week-to-week gain.
Of emerging markets, Africa (2,612 segments) is down 27% over the past four weeks.

U.S. fractional and charter operators (24,878 flights) were up 8% year-over-year.
Over the past four weeks, activity was 2% higher than 2023.
