Private Jet Flight Activity Analysis – 2024 – Week 40

Despite a drop in Week 40, worldwide private jet flying in 2024 has stayed 2% below last year’s levels per WingX.

By Doug Gollan, October 10, 2024

Worldwide private jet activity in Week 40 dropped by 3% week-to-week, with 70,878 movements.

The WingX data shows flying 4% below the same period in 2023.

WingX Managing Director Richard Koe says, “Business jet demand is navigating turbulent waters, with the approach of the U.S. elections, outgoing and incoming hurricanes across the Southeast of the country, economic stagnation in Europe, and escalating conflicts in the Middle East. The combined headwinds are clearly widening the declines compared to 2023, which was a reset from the post-Covid high points in 2022.”
