GlobeAir promotes deicing insurance ahead of winter flying

On-demand charter customers with GlobeAir can mitigate deicing expenses via an insurance program from the operator.

GlobeAir also offers deicing insurance for members of the jet card program.

Ad hoc charter customers can add deicing insurance for 400 euros per leg when booking.

You can also include deicing insurance up to 48 hours before departure for 800 euros per leg.

The VLJ operator says deicing in Europe often exceeds 2,500 euros per incidence.

When deicing is required, and customers don’t have the insurance, they are billed post-flight.
