U.S. private jet flight activity kept rolling with a 13% week-to-week gain putting flying 10% ahead of last year.
The Trump jump continued in Week 49 (73,488 segments), as global private jet flight activity increased 8% week-to-week, 7% higher than 2023 levels.
The latest WingX statistics showed that U.S. private jet flights (52,358 segments) were 13% up sequentially and 10% higher year over year.
Moreover, in the trailing four weeks ending Dec. 8, 2024, private flights in the U.S. (202,183 segments) were 5% ahead of 2023.
California (4,907 departures) and Florida (7,736) saw the biggest gains compared to last year, up 14% and 13%, respectively.

Fractional and charter operators (36,359 departures) were flat week-to-week.
However, they were 11% higher than 2023.
Over the trailing four weeks, segments worldwide were 5% higher.
U.S., charter, and fractional departures (27,819) were 1% up sequentially and 14% higher compared to 2023.
Over the past four weeks, flying has been up 6%.
California (+20%), Florida (+14%), and Texas (+13%), the three biggest markets, each saw double-digit gains year-over-year.
Over the trailing four weeks, Texas was 11% up from 2023.

Europe’s 5,584 fractional and charter flights showed a 2% sequential gain, although they were down 1% year over year.
While just 1,338 segments, Asia charter and fractional departures showed a 24% gain during the past month.
