By Doug Gollan, February 20, 2025

Worldwide private jet flight activity (72,025 segments) continued its roll in Week 7.

Totals were 6% up sequentially and 2% year-over-year.

Over the past four weeks, private jet flights were 4% up compared to last year.

‘Highest-ever levels’

WingX Managing Director Richard Koe says, “Global business jet traffic is reaching its highest-ever levels in 2025, eclipsing the previous high peaks in 2022, primarily due to the renewed demand for business jet travel in the U.S. since Trump’s election.”

He adds, “Even Europe, facing serious economic headwinds, has seen an increase in business jet traffic this year compared to last, with a surge in the last week reflecting school half-term breaks.”

U.S. private jet flights (51,422) were up 6% week-to-week and 1% year-over-year.

Over the past four weeks, the 189,703 departures represented a 4% year-over-year surplus.

For the week ending Feb. 16, 2025, Florida’s 8,642 departures represented a 10% sequential increase and an 11% year-over-year bump.

Over the past four weeks, Florida departures increased by 8% to 31,306.

Europe (8,848 departures) increased 2% year-over-year for the week and was up the same amount over the past four weeks (33,812).

UK departures (1,410) spiked 17% compared to 2024.

German departures were down 6% year-over-year despite the Munich Security Conference.

During the conference week, there were 253 private jet arrivals at Munich metro area airports.

That was up by 83% compared to the previous week.
