Private Jet Flight Activity Analysis – 2025 – Week 15

What, me worry? Worldwide private jet activity continues its positive year-over-year growth trend despite tariffs, financial uncertainties.

By Doug Gollan, April 17, 2025

Worldwide private jet flight activity (76,183 segments) rebounded from only its second week in the red last week with a 4% year-over-year gain in the week ending April 13, 2025, according to the latest WingX data.

Managing Director Richard Koe says, “In the week following Liberation Day, Week 15, global business jet flights were actually up 4% compared to the same week last year, with activity up 2% in the core U.S. market, 8% up in Europe, and 40% up in the Middle East.”

Koe adds, “The last four weeks’ trend is up 3.5%, with charter and fractional markets slightly trailing at a 3% growth trend.”

Year to date, there were just over one million private jet departures worldwide.

That’s 3% more than in the comparable period of 2024.
