Bitlux launches first jet card program

Bitlux’s first jet card offers capped hourly rates that extend to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean, plus flights within Europe.

Boca Raton, Florida-based Bitlux will officially launch its first guaranteed-availability, capped hourly rate jet card later this month.

The rollout will be during Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas.

Kyle Patel, the boutique broker’s founder and president, says about one-third of its clients use cryptocurrency for payments.

Bitlux offers four different jet cards.

However, it doesn’t offer a light jet option.

The four cards are labeled Ascent, Cardinal, Sovereignty, and Nomad.

There are also four cabin categories – midsize, super-midsize, large, and ultra-long-haul.

Ascent gives you access to one cabin category at published rates.

Cardinal gives you access to two cabin categories at published rates – the one you buy into and the one below.

Ascent and Cardinal allow you to upgrade for a 10% surcharge.

Sovereignty gives you access to midsize, super-midsize, and large cabin jets at published capped hourly rates.

Non-peak callout is 48 hours.

There are 36 peak days.

Daily minimums are 90 minutes plus taxi time for midsize jets.

All other categories are 120 minutes, plus tax time.

WiFi for domestic flights is included across all categories.

Unlike many other boutique broker jet cards, you can cancel one-way bookings after confirmation, adding flexibility.

The capped rate service area includes the Caribbean, Bermuda, Mexico, and within 200 nautical miles of the Canadian border.

There are also fixed hourly rates within Europe.

In addition to no interchange rates, the key differences between the three tiers are catering and deicing credits.

For those who want to fly intercontinental legs, Nomad is sold as an add-on to Sovereignty.

It gives you as-available access to ultra-long-haul private jets for worldwide flights and fixed hourly rates.

Kyle Patel

Patel says he has had aviation in his blood.

The son of a United Airlines pilot, he cut his teeth working at other brokers.

After learning the ropes and seeing an opportunity for peer-to-peer cryptocurrency payments, he launched Bitlux.

Patel says, “We are the only provider that offers true peer-to-peer crypto transactions, wallet-to-wallet, safe, secure, and without intermediaries or third-party merchants that scrape customer data.”

He adds, “We accept quite a few different cryptocurrencies, including, but not limited to, Bitcoin, Stablecoins, Ethereum, Monero, Solana, NEAR, and many more.”

Bitlux growth plans

Patel says adding a guaranteed jet card program speaks to consumers who want more than dynamic pricing.

Bitlux also added Dennis Ju as vice president of strategy and growth as part of its goal to scale up.

Ju brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience across varied industries.

Patel says, “Dennis has delivered transformative results across industries including SaaS, franchising, and real estate services.”

For his part, Ju says, “My focus is on empowering teams and communities to drive meaningful, inclusive progress.”

While the entry-level is 25 hours, Bitlux will run a promotion starting at 10 hours during Bitcoin 2025.
