Thrive Aviation launches first guaranteed availability, rate jet card

Fast-growing Thrive Aviation is jumping into the guaranteed availability, fixed-rate jet card segment with a new three-tiered program.

Las Vegas-based Thrive Aviation has launched its first guaranteed availability, fixed-rate jet card.

CEO Curtis Edenfield tells Private Jet Card Comparisons that the new program is a “slow rollout” that is gaining traction through word-of-mouth.

In 2024, the 2018 start-up grew into the 12th-largest charter/fractional operator, up six spots in our annual rankings.

Thrive has gained a reputation for its new fleet (buying directly from Textron and Gulfstream), and more recently, it has been expanding via management.

Flight hours grew by 29% last year.

The new three-tiered program offers guaranteed availability with fixed rates, with as little as 48 hours’ notice.

Tiers are based on deposits of $150,000 (Ascension), $300,000 (Elevation), and $500,000 (Apex).

Non-peak callout for the entry-level – Ascension – is 72 hours.

Elevation and Apex are 48 hours.

The Primary Service Area where the fixed rates apply is the Continental U.S.

Outside the PSA is dynamic pricing.

Availability on 62 peak days is not guaranteed.

There are seven different aircraft categories.

Customers can choose from Light Jets, Midsize Jets, two categories of Super Midsize Jets, two levels of Large Jets, and Ultra Long-Range aircraft.

Super Mid + guarantees a stand-up cabin.

Daily Minimums are 120 minutes, plus taxi time across the board.

Flights that begin or end at LAS, OPF, or TEB, all among the busiest U.S. private jet airports, are 90 minutes, plus taxi time.

The program is refundable less a 15% restocking fee.

Complimentary ground transportation and parking are offered in Las Vegas.

Previously, Thrive Aviation’s jet card was as-available.

COO Rickey Oswald says 80 members from its previous program have transitioned to the new guaranteed program since last Fall.

Oswald adds, “The launch of our new jet card program marks a significant milestone for Thrive Aviation.”

He notes, “It’s something we’ve been thoughtfully building toward, and we’re proud to introduce a more elevated, personalized membership experience.”

Oswald says, “With 29 aircraft in our fleet and a solid base of loyal members, we’re ready to offer something flexible, elevated, and on par with what the big players provide.”

While Thrive Aviation previously offered hourly rates, it did not include repositioning.

The new program only charges for occupied hours within the PSA.

Last week, Fly Alliance said it was teaming with Thrive Aviation to launch a Textron Aviation aircraft-based Citation Reserve jet card.
