Worldwide private jet flight activity (78,808 segments) hit a 52-week high for the second week in a row, according to the latest WingX data.

So far, there have only been two weeks in 2026 where worldwide private jet flights were below 2024’s levels.
The over 1.8 million private jet segments in the first half of 2025 represent 3% year-over-year growth.
The wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez spurred an increase in private jet arrivals.
However, not as much as you would think.
Two airports near Venice (LIPZ and LIPH) recorded 131 individual private jets arriving last week.
That was up from 97 in the previous week.
Most private jet flights originated from other airports in Italy.
Other origin markets included the United States, the UK, and France.
Most arrivals were on ultra-long-range jets.
Gulfstream G650s, followed by Bombardier Global 7500s, were the most frequently seen types on the tarmac.
U.S. private jet flight activity (51,399 segments) was up 3% year-over-year.
Texas saw a 10% year-over-year increase with 5,040 segments.
European segments (15,329) increased 1% year-over-year.
Italy was up 21% with 2,476 segments.
Over the trailing four weeks, Italy saw an 18% increase in segments.
As speculation continues about Bombardier’s mystery buyer being from the Middle East or Asia, both regions experienced slight declines.
Asia clocked 2,001 segments with the Middle East at 1,450 departures, down 1% and 2%, respectively.
