
Worldwide private jet flight activity was up 1% year-over-year to get back in the black for Week 30 after flat growth the week before.
After a brief pause last week, worldwide private jet flight activity (76,267 segments) was again on the rise.
Week 30 private jet flight activity increased 1% compared to the same period last year.
Flights were down 1% sequentially.
So far, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
So far this quarter, segments are up 2.7% year-over-year.
That follows a 3.1% increase year-over-year in Q2 of 2025.
Q1 flying was up 3.0% year-over-year.
The reversal of the two-year slide started in Q4 of 2024 when movements increased 2.8% on a year-over-year basis.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe says, “The business jet market continues to show strong demand, with activity at all-time highs.”
He adds, “While we’re seeing some ups and downs in different regions, the overall trend remains positive.”
U.S. private jet flying (49,958 departures) was also 1% up year-over-year.
California (4,576) saw the best numbers of the big markets, up 4% compared to 2024.
For the week ending July 27, 2025, European flights (14,367) were down 1% year-over-year.
The Middle East (+18%), Africa (+18%), and South America (+12%) saw double-digit increases.

For charter and fractional operators, global private jet flight activity was flat year-over-year with 40,508 segments.
U.S. segments (27,295) were up 1% this year compared to 2024.
California (2,976 departures) and Texas (2,015) each saw 5% year-over-year gains.

European charter and fractional segments (10,342) were down 3% on a year-over-year basis.
Both Africa (-21%) and Asia (-11%) were in the red.
South America saw a 53% increase in weekly charter and fractional flights year-over-year.
However, with just 52 movements, that does little to move the needle.
South America is up 32% over the past four weeks.
The 172 segments for South America in the past month are roughly equivalent to what Florida sees in two days.
