A lawsuit by a former aircraft management customer of Fly Alliance has been dismissed with prejudice after a settlement.
A lawsuit filed in 2023 by an aircraft owner against Fly Alliance has been settled.
The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice and followed a notification of settlement.
The lawsuit by Zap Aviation revolved around a 1996 Gulfstream IVSP.
The large cabin private jet had been part of Fly Alliance’s charter fleet before August 2022, when the parties entered into negotiations where Zap would buy the Gulfstream.
The agreement called for Zap to lease it back to the seller.
Fly Alliance would then use it in its charter and jet card programs.
Zap alleged that promises of charter revenue were overstated and that invoices did not have proper backup.
Fly Alliance President Christopher Tasca tells Private Jet Card Comparisons:
‘I’m pleased to confirm that this matter has been formally resolved and dismissed. At no point were any findings made against Fly Alliance substantiated, and we are grateful to have this chapter closed. This experience has reinforced our commitment to customer service excellence and served as an opportunity for meaningful reflection. We’ve used it to strengthen our internal practices and further enhance the product we deliver to future clients.’
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
