The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large-cabin, long-range private jet manufactured by the French aerospace company Dassault Aviation.
Business Jet Traveler writes, “With a range of 5,797 nautical miles, the 7X may not have the longest legs in the large-cabin bizjet ‘uber-barge’ derby, but it is the undisputed champ in the go-anywhere sub-category.” It points to its performance on the 3,570-foot runway at Gstaad, Switzerland, with pavement to spare.

The Falcon 7X made its first flight on May 5, 2005, and was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in April 2007. Production of the Falcon 7X began in 2006. As of 2021, over 300 Falcon 7X aircraft have been delivered. In 2013, Dassault introduced an upgraded version of the Falcon 7X, known as the Falcon 8X. The Falcon 8X was certified in June 2016.
The Falcon 7X has a cabin height of 6.2 feet, a width of 7.7 feet, and a length of 39.1 feet. It can accommodate up to 16 passengers in a standard configuration, with a lavatory at the front and rear of the cabin.
The Falcon 7X powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A turbofan engines, which provide a maximum cruise speed of Mach 0.90 and a range of up to 5,950 nautical miles (6,845 miles). It has a maximum takeoff weight of 70,000 pounds and a maximum altitude of 51,000 feet.
A new Falcon 7X starts at $54 million, while used models are around $18 million.
