Founded in 2008 and based outside London, PrivateFly, now FXAir, offers on-demand charter and a fixed-rate, guaranteed availability jet card in Europe.
In 2018, Directional Aviation acquired it and merged its Skyjet private jet charter division under the PrivateFly banner.
In 2024, PrivateFly changed its name to FXAir.
It is part of Flexjet, Inc., which includes Flexjet, Sentient Jet, FXAir, and Constant Aviation.
As part of its SPAC merger plans announced in 2022, OneSky Flight was renamed as Flexjet, Inc. Constant Aviation joined the flight providers (Flexjet, Sentient Jet, FXAir, PrivateFly, Sirio, and Flair Jet) in Flexjet, Inc. In April 2023, the company announced that it would halt its plans for an IPO and remain privately held. Luxury giant LVMH and its billionaire Chairman, Bernard Arnault, announced in July 2025 that they had acquired a 20% stake in Flexjet through L Catterton, the investment firm they back.
