Former Atlantic Aviation CEO Louis Pepper joined Jeff Bezos and Avfuel’s Craig Sincock as winner of the Kenn Ricci award.
Longtime Atlantic Aviation CEO Louis Pepper was named the Kenn Ricci Lifetime Aviation Entrepreneur Award winner for 2025.
Significant achievements and leadership roles mark Pepper’s 45-year career in general aviation.
After starting his career at Teterboro Aircraft Service and rising through the ranks, Pepper became president of Million Air and the owner of the Million Air FBO Franchise Company.
In 2000, Pepper led the acquisition of Atlantic Aviation.
Under his leadership, Atlantic Aviation became one of the nation’s largest FBO groups.
After stepping down as CEO in 2023, he continues to serve on the board of directors.
Past winners of the Kenn Ricci award include Larry Mendelson, CEO of HEICO, Dan Drohan of Solairus Aviation, Craig R. Sincock of Avfuel, and Jeff Bezos.
Ricci noted, “This annual recognition celebrates the cumulative achievements of those who have reshaped the face of aviation.”

The 22nd annual Legends event was held April 25, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom in Beverly Hills, California.
