Vista Global has merged its recently acquired XOJET and JetSmarter brands into something it is calling XO, powered by JetSmarter technology, and something it is saying is “the beginning of a new world, with instant booking and worldwide access for on-demand customers.”

Visitors to both the XOJET.com and JetSmarter.com websites as of this morning are redirected to a new FlyXO.com URL.

PrivateFly launches New York – Los Angeles, Bay Area fixed-rate pricing at $29,000

PrivateFly is expanding its fixed-rate, one-way flight pricing for the summer using the Challenger 300

PrivateFly is offering fixed-rate, one-way pricing for two key cross-country routes this summer using the Bombardier Challenger 300. Price is $29,000 for a one-way charter of the whole aircraft, which seats eight. The move follows its rollout of similar by the flight fixed prices under the City Pairs banner in Europe.

With a new lawsuit seeking at least $890,000 filed against JetSmarter last week in New Jersey and perhaps a dozen more customers contemplating legal action, Private Jet Card Comparisons has been told by multiple sources that as many as 40 people were laid off from the company over the past several weeks. In March 2017, its CEO Sergey Petrossov told the Miami Herald it had 260 employees. 

JetSmarter extends non-member discounts through July 31st

The promotion was supposed to end yesterday but has been extended through the end of the month.

 

JetSmarter gave its members a few more days to get irked with the by-the-seat private jet travel club as it extended its promotion enabling non-members to book at member rates for the rest of the month. Last month JetSmarter announced for the first time non-members could buy seats on its scheduled private jet flights as well as start shared shuttles.
