A sworn declaration by JetSuite’s chief restructuring officer, Edward T. Gavin of Gavin/Solmonese, gives a unique view into the Part 135 charter operator leading up to grounding its fleet and subsequent Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing earlier this week.
The document, filed prior to a video hearing yesterday, confirmed $50 million in unused SuiteKey jet card balances, the amount estimated by Private Jet Card Comparisons in our earlier report.

Embraer Phenom 100 Facts
Brazilian manufacturer Embraer’s Phenom 100 was one of the original very light jets and one of the few that have survived and are still in production with the Phenom 100EV. Its cabin configuration comes with either four or five seats.
It is now succeeded by the Phenom 300E with advanced avionics and cabin systems, although both share the same dimensions.
The Phenom 100 has limited availability in both fractional ownership and jet cards.
The price for a used Phenom 100 begins at around $1 million, according to Controller, although as of Oct. 2020 only 20 were on the market.
