Argus Traqpak’s research data showed June as the busiest month for private aviation since October 2007. Now, the aviation research firm says July 1, 2021, recorded 12,345 business aviation flights in North America. That was the largest single-day of operations since March 20, 2008.
The U.S. private jet charter market is hot, with almost 50% more sectors so far this year than last, and 4% more flights than in the same period of 2019, according to WingX.
Business aviation activity surged 30% in March compared to the same period in 2020. However, private jet flights were still 8% down compared to 2019, according to WingX.
March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb, goes the old saying. According to WingX’s weekly private jet tracking report, the U.S. private jet market has been all big cat this month so far.
